Who we are
Our story began over 40 years ago with a young man's fascination with bridge construction. Fast forward to today, and after countless renovations, more coffees than we can admit, and raising six children, he now works alongside his sons to turn renovation dreams into reality. This young man’s name was Sean, the Co-founder of Sacred Heart Constructions.
Our journey has spanned from crafting bespoke Australian cottages and updating 70s brick homes to revitalizing beachside properties—all fuelled by a passion for quality craftsmanship.
For Sean, this has always been more than just a job; it’s been a lifelong dream to work with his hands and create beautiful pieces everyday. The name Sacred Heart reflects Sean's childhood aspiration to (humbly) emulate the original master builder, Jesus the Carpenter, striving for perfection in every project. Although, he would hate for anyone to know that!
Sean has not only built countless homes but has also created a lasting legacy through his family. As a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren, he now enjoys watching a new generation of ‘mini tradies’ growing up under his guidance. His legacy extends beyond construction, nurturing future craftsmen and craftswomen who are already learning the value of hard work and craftsmanship.
